01
Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and the independent developer identified as the seller on Datelet’s App Store product page (“Datelet,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your use of the Datelet iOS app, datelet.app invitation pages, and related services (together, the “Service”).
By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Apple’s standard licensed application end-user license agreement also applies to the app; if these Terms conflict with mandatory App Store terms, those mandatory terms control.
02
Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age required to use online services in your country, and legally able to enter into this agreement. If applicable law requires a parent or guardian’s consent, you may use Datelet only with that consent. You may use Datelet only in compliance with applicable law and these Terms.
Datelet uses passwordless email authentication to create or access your account. We send a one-time code to the email address you provide. A paid web funnel asks for the email you intend to use with Datelet before it shows subscription plans. Your access may also depend on app data and credentials held securely on your device. You are responsible for keeping your device and email account protected and for activity performed through your account. Do not transfer, sell, or misuse an account.
03
What Datelet provides
Datelet lets you create date plans, share private invitation links, receive responses and counterproposals, connect with a partner, keep planned and completed date records, and use related features we make available. Some features require internet access, notifications, an active App Store account, or a compatible Apple device.
Datelet is a planning and communication tool. We do not provide venues, transport, food, emergency services, or the activities described in invitations. You and the other person remain responsible for confirming details, making safe choices, and deciding whether a plan is appropriate.
04
Invitation and pair links
Invitation and pair links are designed to be difficult to guess, but possession of a valid link grants access to the information and actions available through it. A recipient may forward a link. Keep links private, share them only with the intended person, and avoid including information you would not want another link holder to see.
An unanswered date invitation generally expires after 24 hours. A pair invitation expires after seven days, and creating a newer pair link invalidates the previous one. Other links may become unavailable when a date is deleted, canceled, completed, or otherwise closed. We may restrict access to protect users or the Service.
05
Your content and acceptable use
“Your Content” means the names, plan details, venue or meeting information, food choices, messages, and other information you submit. You keep ownership of Your Content. You give Datelet a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, transmit, and display it only as needed to operate, protect, and improve the Service.
You confirm that you have the right to submit Your Content and that doing so will not violate another person’s rights or applicable law. You must not use the Service to:
- harass, threaten, deceive, stalk, exploit, or impersonate anyone;
- share unlawful, abusive, hateful, sexually exploitative, or privacy-invasive content;
- send spam, malicious links, malware, or invitations without a legitimate recipient;
- probe, bypass, disrupt, reverse engineer, or overload security or access controls;
- scrape, automate, resell, or commercially exploit the Service without permission; or
- use Datelet for an unlawful, dangerous, or fraudulent purpose.
We may remove content, invalidate links, or restrict accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, comply with law, or protect people and the Service.
07
Datelet ownership and feedback
The Service, including its software, visual system, characters, templates, text, logos, and other materials, is owned by Datelet or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.
If you send ideas or feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction or payment. You are not required to submit feedback.
08
Changes, availability, and termination
We may update, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service to improve it, address security or legal requirements, or respond to circumstances outside our control. We do not guarantee that every feature or invitation will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device or region.
You may stop using Datelet at any time and may delete your account from Profile. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially or repeatedly violate these Terms, create risk or harm, or if we must do so by law. Sections that by their nature should survive— including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—continue after termination.
09
Disclaimers and limits of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not responsible for another user, a venue, an activity, a forwarded link, or decisions made from invitation information.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Datelet will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill arising from the Service. Our total liability for claims related to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Datelet through the App Store in the 12 months before the claim or EUR 50.
These exclusions and limits do not apply where prohibited, including liability that cannot lawfully be limited and rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
10
Governing law, disputes, and changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Poland have jurisdiction, except that consumers may bring claims in any court available under mandatory consumer law. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern informally. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a reorganization, financing, or transfer of the Service.
We may update these Terms as the Service or law changes. We will post the revised version and effective date here and provide additional notice when required. Continuing to use the Service after updated Terms take effect means you accept them, to the extent permitted by law.
